Broken housings and thunderstorms.

Hit Burleigh yesterday morning super keen to shoot one of them bombs firing out at the cove. walked around the hill and missioned down the rocks trying not to loose my balance and scratch the housing, as i stand in the water after getting myself pumped for the swim i thought i would do one last tighten to ensure no water gets in and then SNAP off comes the zoom dial with a gaping hole looking straight back at me.........SHIIIIT Not impressed Andy. After a long walk back i thought i would shot the left overs and then find someone to fix my gear. Found a sick guy next to harbourtown who had everything fixed in an hour for $10, what a legend. Crazy storm rolled over in the arvo, i sat on the driveway waiting for the shot, unfortunately it didn't happen but i did manage to shoot a nice lighting strike on the horizon lighting up the sky with some mad colours. New swell coming soon, don't think i will get excited until i see them 8 ft sets rolling through so we will see what happens. Andy
