'Byron Bay'

Up for the early no worries today, alarm set for 4.30 and up about 10 minutes before. Thought Byron or at least south was the way to go, unfortunately i was wrong. The Wreck had some super fun close outs and that was it. Feel buggered from the swim, ended up doing 3 round trips with the sweep dragging me from my first foot step but ended up with a nice one so it was worth it. Seemed like the west actually meant south east but i can understand how you can get the two confused lol. Tomorrow has also had some late changes with a forecasted southerly after a week of westerlies on the radar, i am sure they will rock up some time, proberly while im at work.  Back on the coast pretty early and pretty dissapointed, i dont doubt i am not the only one. Need to do a trip abroad or at least more then an hours drive, even sunny coast would be nice. Will have to look into it and get a plan moving!!! A few pics attached from today, matty insisted on a romantic walk to the lighthouse after being greeted with POO surf. Sunrise was amazing with no one around so i managed to snap off a few shots.
